ABOUT BILL SHANNON

Bill Shannon has studied and illustrated birds for decades, and daily appreciates his feathered friends that visit his backyard. He enjoys photography, painting, drawing, pottery, bonsai, travel, and his family—wife, children, and grandchildren—who are the joy of his life.

Bill has been painting and traveling more since retiring after 48 years in pastoral ministry with the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin and Indiana  After he retired he served as Hospitality Staff for Educational Opportunities Tours in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Tiberias. Everywhere he travels he is birdwatching, photographing and doing artwork.
